Dr. Regina Garriott received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1992 from the Southern California College of Optometry (SCCO). After completing a residency in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy at the same institution, she then joined the faculty at SCCO.

As Assistant Professor at SCCO, Dr. Garriott's didactic assignments include primary eye care optometry, refraction, vision therapy, strabismus and amblyopia. Clinically, Dr. Garriott works primarily in vision therapy and pediatric services. Dr. Garriott also supervises the optometry residents in the Pediatric Contact Lens program.

Nationally, Dr. Garriott has provided continuing education lectures to optometrists in the areas of pediatric vision and pediatric contact lens care. She is a Fellow of the College of Optometrists and Vision Development and a Diplomate of the Binocular Vision Section of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Garriott has published articles in a number of optometric journals and has served as a reviewer for the Academy journal, Optometry and Vision Science.
