Dr. Kwon received her Doctor of Optometry degree in 1996 from the Illinois College of Optometry after earning BS from University of Illinois. She then completed a residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1997. At present, Dr. Kwon is an Assistant Professor at the Southern California College of Optometry and Residency Coordinator in Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy. Her primary didactic teaching responsibility is the Pediatric Optometry course. Her clinical teaching responsibilities are in the Pediatric Optometry and Vision Therapy Services. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. Currently, she is a Co-Investigator for an FDA drug-trial involving myopia control and one of the study optometrists in Collaborative Longitudinal Evaluation of Ethnicity and Refractive Error (CLEERE) Study. Her research interests are pediatric optometry, binocular vision, vision and learning and myopia.
