Dr. Jason S. Ng received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry after completing his BA degree at UC Berkeley. Following a year in private practice and conducting school screenings he entered the Vision Science Program at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, completing his PhD in 2008 that involved electrodiagnostics and diabetic eye disease. Dr. Ng is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry as well as a member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association. He has co-authored several scientific papers and has presented his research at national and international vision conferences. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Basic and Vision Sciences and has teaching responsibilities in both the basic sciences and clinical care.
