Who We Are
OCLA is a clinical teaching facility of the Southern California College of Optometry that offers excellent comprehensive eye care for the community. Our clinicians work under the close supervision of distinguished optometric and medical faculty who rank among the finest in the world.
Conveniently located near the USC campus and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, OCLA has been serving the community since 1904.

Your Appointment
Please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time so that you can complete the necessary patient forms. Remember to bring your insurance information, list of medications, current glasses, contact lenses or other vision devices, and method of payment. (See "Fees and Insurance" for payment information.)
Our examinations are very thorough and include many tests, so please allow at least 1-1/2 hours for the initial visit. The amount of time for follow-up visits will vary, depending on what needs to be done.
Spanish-speaking translators are available at the clinic. However, many patients find it helpful to bring English-speaking family members or friends who can translate for them during their examinations.
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
